ZWO ASI462MM [MONO] is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The ZWO ASI462MM is the latest mono planetary camera which features the Sony STARVIS IMX462 1/2.8” sensor with excellent near infrared sensitivity. It is considered the next iteration of the popular ASI290MM, designed for planetary, lunar and solar imaging, particularly with IR-pass filters.
The 2.9um pixel size accommodates a well depth of 11.2ke with a total of 2.1 megapixels. The sensor length and width are 5.6mm*3.2mm and the diagonal is 6.46mm. The resolution is 1936*1096. The camera is equipped with 256MB of high speed DDR3 memory, ensuring stable and secure data transmission.
The ASI462MM features a High Conversion Gain mode, which can effectively reduce readout noise at high gain and allow the camera to maintain the same high dynamic range as it does at low gain. At gain 80, the HCG mode is automatically turned on; the dynamic range reaches a level close to 12stops, and the readout noise can be as low as 0.47e.
The ASI462MM has very high QE value at 800-1000nm wavelength (almost 2 times higher than that of ASI290MC). The absolute QE peak is around 89%.
