The Saxon 200DS Astrophotography Newtonian reflector has an aperture of 200mm and a focal length of 1000mm.
The 200DS is a great option for prime focus astrophotography and with the optional coma corrector, gives high quality images with pin point stars across the whole field of view. The telescope comes supplied with a 2" dual-speed 10:1 focuser, Vixen-style dovetail, and 9x50 finder scope.

Produces excellent results and is easy to collimate being F5 as opposed to the more popular F4 style units. Definitely large and bulky compared to the smaller popular refractors, so you will need a decent mount. I used the SW 0.9 flattener which works well and is economically priced. The focuser is OK but does struggle with heavier loads. Suggested upgrades are felt style flocking, painting around the secondary mirror, a primary mirror mask and perhaps a heavier duty focuser (The Testar Baader focuser!). Recommended and fun! A+++. The Image below took about 30 minutes with the Optolong L-Extreme dual narrowband filter. and a standard DSLR.
