Geoptik's range of high quality counterweights are made of Chromium-plated steel to protect against weathering. The screw is plastic tipped to protect the counterweight shaft. They come in a range of weights and sizes to suit Saxon, SkyWatcher, Celestron and Losmandy mounts.

The asymmetric design of the 2.5kg counterweights allows you to rotate the position of the counterweight in order to compensate for uneven weight of your imaging equipment, such as focusers or guide scopes mounted to the side of the telescope.
