ZWO ASI220MM MINI [MONO]
ZWO
ZWO ASI220MM MINI [MONO] is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The ZWO ASI 220MM Mini is a monochrome planetary and guiding camera containing the SC2210 CMOS backlit mono sensor which has a diagonal of 1/1.8" and a resolution of 2.07 MP. The 220MM Mini can be considered a successor to the popular ASI 290MM Mini, with bigger pixels and increased sensitivity in the near infrared.
The sensor has a maximum QE up to 92% at 500nm. The sensor has very low readout noise, as little as 0.6e-. Its 4µm pixels and high sensitivity make it an excellent choice for use with off-axis guiders, as well as planetary imaging with IR-pass filters due to its high QE.
The USB 2.0 Type-C port provides a more robust connection than typical type-B ports. The ASI220MM Mini has a HCG mode which effectively reduces readout noise at high gain settings while preserving the same wide dynamic range that you would get at low gain. From 106 gain and higher, HCG mode will automatically activate, giving a read noise as low as 0.6e- with a dynamic range of 11.3 stops.
