SKYWATCHER QUATTRO 200 f/4 & ESATTO 2" is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The SkyWatcher Quattro 200/800 f4 is perfect for long exposure astrophotography of deep-sky objects thanks to the ESATTO 2" robotic microfocuser that allows the use of heavy cameras and accessories without flexure or slippages.
Thanks to the fast f/4 focal ratio and the compatibility with the very good f/4 optional coma corrector, you will be able to record great pictures of galaxies, nebulas or star clusters. This telescope comes with ESATTO 2" robotic microfocuser, 8x50 optical finder, support rings and Vixen type dovetail bar.
Note: Esatto is shipped in its original packaging and does not come pre-assembled to the scope.
The SkyWatcher 200 Quattro is a Newtonian telescope with the super fast focal ratio of f/4. If compared with a f/5 telescope, the photographic exposure with a f/4 system is 40% shorter, making it a great time saver. This instrument is ideal for astrophotography and it will deliver sharp images across a large flat field when used with the SkyWatcher aplanatic coma corrector.
The secondary mirror is oversized in order to have a fully illuminated field and to avoid any vignetting. Both mirrors are made in borosilicate glass which have low thermal expansion coefficient. That means that the precise optical surfaces of the mirrors remain the same while the glass will cool down. The aluminium tube is internally blackened to avoid internal reflection, enhance contrast and to absorb stray light.
Pictured with additional (not-included) PLUS 240mm Vixen dovetail, 235mm rings, EAGLE and ECCO control units and 60mm Guide scope.
The Quattro has a Crayford focuser that doesn't offer a high load capacity so it is not recommended for long exposure astrophotography with heavy cameras or accessories. This special version of the SkyWatcher Newton Quattro adds ESATTO 2", the new generation robotic focuser that you control by any Windows computer by connecting it to a USB port, or via WiFi by using ESATTO app on your smartphone or tablet with the Virtual HandPad.
On the camera side, ESATTO has a M56x1 male thread to connect and manually rotate many cameras and accessories by adding the optional adapters with stop rings. The 2” version of the ESATTO 2" has a depth of 67mm, it has 15mm of focuser tube travel, a 5kg payload capacity and an incredible resolution of 0,04 micron per step. In order to connect different cameras and reach focus, you have to add one of the many optional adapters with T2, M48, M54, etc threads.
