SKYWATCHER COLLAPSIBLE DOBSONIAN 8" GO-TO

The SkyWatcher Dobsonian Flextube 8" Go-To collapsible combines the great light gathering of the Dobsonian telescope with the convenience of the computerised system SynScan. Once the telescope is aligned, the Go-To system allows the user to slew the telescope towards planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, clusters and much more.

The SynScan has 42,900 celestial objects in its memory, allowing for an amazing journey of the night sky.
The Deep Sky Tour function suggests a list of the most interesting deep sky objects, so even the beginner astronomer can easily observe faint objects with the touch of a button.

The patented collapsible system is the ultimate in technology and portability and is ready for night sky action in seconds; the spring loaded system enables an easy, single handed extension of the tube.

The Freedom Find technology (dual-encoder) allows the telescope to be moved manually whenever the user wishes, but without losing any of the pre-set alignment.

To top it off, the SkyWatcher Collapsible Dobsonians are equipped with a 2″ Crayford focuser and a focuser locking screw.

SynScan

The SynScan go-to system is a computerized system supplied with the professional SkyWatcher mounts and telescopes. 

It features:

• 9 speeds 1x, 2x, 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, 400x, 500x, 600x, 800x (3.3°/sec)
• 42,900 objects including planets, the moon, the sun, named stars, double stars, variable stars and the most famous catalogue that are Messier, Caldwell, NGC, IC & SAO 
• Sidereal, moon and sun tracking speeds, 
• Pointing Accuracy Enhancement feature (PAE)
• Unknown Object Identification feature
• Permanent Periodic Error Correction (PPEC) for mounts only
