MGPBOX GPS USB WEATHER STATION

The Astromi.ch MGPBox is a small, lightweight GPS weather station that provides positional information, barometric pressure, temperature, humidity and dew point information with superb accuracy. It adds the possibility to remotely shutdown / power up your 10Micron mount (or any other mount that requires a pulse of a certain duration).

It is the most “feature complete” product in our product line and combines the outstanding accuracy of the Bosch BME280 environmental sensor with the positional data from an L80 GPS-Module from Quectel, combined in a small, handy enclosure.

The MGPBox  can be used as a stand alone device using the included USB cable for easy connection to your computer, providing environmental and GPS data. Using the optional ASCOM local server driver allows you to relay this information to other applications through the Ascom Observing Conditions specification.

The MGPBox  is also fully compatible with 10 Micron mounts and can be connected directly to them.
