CAMERA THREAD


These adapters connect your camera/CCD/reducer to the Prima Luce Lab Esatto 3" or Arco 3" which have various male threads (depending on the adapter). Just screw the adapter to the M81 x 1 thread of the ESATTO 3" draw tube. By using the stop ring for ESATTO 3" you can fix the camera into a precise position and get the desired framing angle.

Prima Luce Lab offers a large variety of adapters with different male threads:

- M42 thread for camera T-rings or astronomy cameras.

- M48 thread for most of the cameras with medium-large sensors as well as filter wheels and off-axis guiders.

- M54 thread for certain large sensor cameras and larger focusers

- M57 male thread, frequently used in many focus reducers 

- M65 thread for SkyWatcher Esprit 120/150 flatteners

- M68 thread for full-frame cameras and related accessories

- M72 thread for larger Takahashi refractors


For 2" accessories such as diagonals, eyepieces or coma correctors you can use the 2" visual back.

The adapter uses a turnable locking ring that allows to fine-tune the backfocus as well as locking your accessory at the desired angle. So to connect your camera or reducer to the Prima Luce Lab adapter, screw that in until you find the desire angle and then turn the locking ring to lock the whole assembly.

These adapters have a thickness of 4mm.
