The Askar FMA230 F/4.6 is an extremely versatile, lightweight triplet apochromatic refractor with a focal length of 230mm. The objective lens has an aperture of 50mm and includes two ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses.
The FMA230, when combined with the included quadruplet reducer, is a very capable super wide-field astrograph with minimal chromatic aberration and distortion. As well as its superb imaging capability, it can be configured as a visual telescope, finder or guide scope.
