WILLIAM OPTICS GUIDESTAR 61 IMAGING KIT - Black dovetail is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The William Optics GuideStar 61 Imaging Kit is the perfect astrophotography telescope for beginners - just add a camera, M48 T-ring and equatorial tracking mount and you're ready to capture the cosmos!
This kit will let you capture stunning widefield vistas, including the Orion and Horsehead nebulae in a single frame (with a full-frame camera attached).
Included is the Flat61A field flattener for sharp stars across the frame, DSD 245mm Vixen-style dovetail in Black for a more secure connection to the mount, and premium soft carry case to keep the telescope protected.
The Guidestar 61 is an apochromatic refractor with a focal ratio of f/5.9 and a focal length of 360mm. Utilizing FPL-53 synthetic fluorite glass, the GuideStar 61 provides excellent aberration correction.
The locking dew shield focuser allows you to easily reach the correct focus point. An extension tube is included to help reach focus with different cameras.
The Flat61 includes an M48 filter thread which will hold any standard 2" filter such as the Optolong L-Pro or L-eXtreme light pollution filters. It also includes a handy camera rotator for precise framing of targets.
Note: As the Flat61 an adjustable flattener, you must adjust the distance for your specific telescope. See the Instructions tab above.
