ANTLIA CH4 METHANE FILTER 1.25"
Antlia
ANTLIA CH4 METHANE FILTER 1.25" is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Antlia CH4 Methane filter 1.25" is a special bandpass filter designed to capture the finer details and more contrast on planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and more.
The Human eye is not sensitive to light beyond around 700nm, so this is strictly a photographic filter and benefits from cameras with good IR response such as the QHY462C. Given the lesser sensitivity of many cameras to these wavelengths, longer exposure times will be required.
This filter uses the latest dielectric interference coating technology to achieve high transmission in the CH4 band at 889 nm and exceptional cut-off of other wavelengths (OD3).
Each filter is tested individually to ensure a high quality standard. The tight tolerance of the filter substrate assures a maximum deviance of ±0.05 from specifications making these filters parfocal.
DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN WITH THE ANTLIA FILTERS. Serious eye damage will occur.
